Things people ask us…

What is Not Beer?

It is quite literally not beer! It’s water :)

Why did you remove the beer taste?

Oh, you noticed! Well, we like to keep things interesting. And hydrating. Beer tastes pretty good – but just like that fling, the flavor gets old after a while. So we thought, what if we removed the flavor, so that you can drink this all day, every day?

What does it taste like?

Delicious, pure sparkling water.

We can’t guarantee that Not Beer is the magical elixir for marital bliss but hey, it can’t hurt right? Picture this: you and your significant other, sipping on Not Beer, having a laugh about the fact that you're not really having beer. It's like a relationship trust fall – you might find out you don’t actually like each other or you might fall even more madly in love!

And who knows, maybe the taste of crisp H2O will spark some deep conversations. You can ponder the important questions in life, like whether pineapple belongs on pizza or if crocs leak people’s dignity with each hole. Choose your own adventure.

What are the ingredients?

Carbonated Purified Water (by Reverse Osmosis), Electrolyte and Mineral Blend (Potassium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, Magnesium Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, Himalayan Pink Salt). Brewed with the spirit of our founding fathers and the feeling of a long weekend, our sparkling water has the essence of a tailgate, a hint of summer sunshine and a whole lot of ‘merica.

Where do you source your water?

You mean America’s water? We may or may not have a pipeline connected directly to the fountain of youth. Everyone always thinks fun diminishes with age… to which we say, you just haven’t tried Not Beer. Don't be surprised if drinking our water makes you feel ten years younger. It’s because you’re having fun. Fine print: we source our water from local water supplies and utilize a multi-step purification process to deliver the cleanest, most consistent water quality to our consumers.

Why purify with reverse osmosis?

At Not Beer, the only thing we take too seriously is quality. That’s why we use reverse-osmosis purified water, which is among the most sophisticated and advanced water purification systems available. This process removes impurities and contaminants, resulting in exceptionally pure water on a consistent basis.

The only downside of reverse-osmosis purification is that it also removes natural minerals. So unlike many of the other brands, we add in a proprietary mineral blend that makes our sparkling water more hydrating and better tasting.

Why add the electrolytes and mineral blend?

We add essential electrolytes and minerals to enhance hydration and taste.

Will drinking Not Beer finally make my Dad proud of me?

Yes. Even the most demanding fathers can’t help but be proud of their children who drink Not Beer.

Does Not Beer support terrorism?

Absolutely not. And we’re the first beverage brand (that we know of) to state that on the record.
